Holiday Giving
WOW! We are overwhelmed at the outpouring of holiday cheer for our service men and women. They will be thrilled with their holiday packages! We were able to send out 36 packages to the 15 men and women who were on our list this time! Many were not on the list because they were transferring stations or we never received an address update.
As always we thank the American Legion Post 193 for allowing us to use the hall for our pack up; Sweet Treat Bakery for baking & shrink wrapping the cookies that we order; Will Brown for hosting our web page; New England Wooden Ware for our custom logo boxes for our stateside troops and the Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation, Inc. for their generous grant to keep this project going.
We had a wonderful group of volunteers who donated items and/or stayed to help separate and pack the donations.
